Joy Division biopic Control gets a first-time Blu-ray release

What did you think of Control? I thought it was alright, better than I expected anyway. If you thought so too (or rated it even higher), you might want a copy of Control on Blu-ray.

Based on Deborah Curtis' Touching From A Distance book, this Anton Corbijn-directed movie is, as you probably know, her version of the Ian Curtis story, his rise to fame, his personal life, his health, his mental state and his ultimate suicide.

The date for your diary is October 17th, although you can do a pre-order this very day if you want to be organised. In terms of special features, you get a director's commentary, extended performance scenes of Transmission, Leaders of Men and Candidate, a Making of Control film, Joy Division's Atmosphere '88 video (directed by Corbijn) and the trailer.
