When You're Strange - a documentary about The Doors

It's been doing the rounds at film festivals for some time (while it was fine-tuned, including the addition of a Johnny Depp commentary after the original one was criticised), but we should finally see The Doors' documentary When You're Strange this year - April 2010 being the approximate time of arrival.

Written and directed by Tom DiCillo, it's actually the first feature-length documentary About The Doors, follows the band from the corridors of UCLA's film school, where Manzarek and Morrison met, to the stages of sold-out arenas, throwing in historic, previously unseen footage from the band as a tasty bonus.
