David Bowie's 1960s debut album reissued in two-disc package
His 60s output doesn't do it for everyone, but if you fancy some quirky pop in a 60s style courtesy of David Bowie, his 1967 debut album is being reissued in January 2010 as a rather nice two-disc set.
Originally released on Deram, it's a million miles away from the Bowie you probably know, 'swinging London' pop is probably a good description for much of it, which the video clip below of Love Me 'Til Tuesday probably sums up.
The deluxe reissue has the 14-track album offered in both stereo and mono versions, coupled with another 28 tracks of 60s rarities, including three versions of arguably his finest tune - In The Heat of the Morning, recently covered by the Last Shadow Puppets. Check out the full tracklisting over the page - it's available for around £12 from January 25th 2010.
