Cult Clip: Public Image Limited do Death Disco on Top of the Pops

Public Image Limited (aka PiL) are doing the rounds again in the UK, albeit without any original members, aside from Mr Lydon obviously.

Why should you care? Well, from 1978 until around '81, PiL (with guitarist Keith Levene and bassist Jah Wobble in the line-up) were up there with anyone in terms of pushing musical boundaries, the music on Metal Box still sounding ahead of the game 30 years on.

And they produced one of the most memorable performances ever seen on Top of the Pops, playing Death Disco live in the studio. Check it out below.
