The Faces to reform - with Mick Hucknall?

Faces

The Faces without Rod Stewart, it's like...well, The Stooges without Iggy. But that could be a reality in 2010, with the band planning on touring without Rod the mod. Oh yes, it gets much much worse.

While Rod has recently hinted he might be up for a reunion, it seems the rest of the band (Ian McLagan, Ronnie Wood and Kenney Jones) are planning one without him. McLagan told Billboard: 'If we don't do it very soon, one of us is gonna check out...I'm 64, for Christ's sake! We've been waiting and waiting for Rod to say yes; now he's finally said no. He's busy doing other shit. So we're going to do it.'

So who will fill Rod's shoes? A recent gig had several guest vocalists, but Mick Hucknall (yes, really) is front runner to take up the full-time slot, along with Sex Pistols' Glen Matlock on bass (for the departed Ronnie Lane). Bad idea? You said it.
