Thurston Moore pens Grunge book
There's a book coming out called Grunge. It won't surprise you that it is all about the Grunge scene of Seattle in the '80s and '90s. It's been written by Sonic Youth's Thurston Moore and features the photos of Michael Lavine.
It celebrates the Seattle punk youth, the bands that lead the movement, the exploitation of the subculture and the backlash of grunge. Naturally, Kurt Cobain features quite a lot. More here.
