Garage-a-go-go at Nottingham's Blast Off! festival

Gories Okay fuzzfiends. Time to buckle up and prepare for G. The loudest, most primal bands are rollin' into the midlands ready to take names and crack skulls.

It's time you hearda The Blast Off! festival.

The line-up is impressive and the booze should be strong, as you can get yer kicks to Doktor Combover, Los Imbasils, The Oblivians... and a return of '86 Detroit rockers, The Gories. Pick of bunch however is the crazed simian surf of the Torpedo Monkeys, who bring the house down with fzzzzzz while in Planet of the Apes get-up... including terrifying masks. Click over to see a vidjo of 'em in action.

There's the usual mix of bands, DJs (including ERpal Johnny Alpha) and record fairs and the like... all you need to know can be found here at The Blast Off! Festival Website

It kicks off July 9th and tickets are from £59.

Aww.... Mof, am I not a pal anymore? I'm DJing this shindig too! I know Johnny Alpha's a way better DJ than me though so... Whatever. ;-)

Mof Gimmers

Shit. Didn't know bub!

As you're in 'the biz', I should probably stake a claim of hating you (in public at least).
