Roulette Pin-Ups - Bobbie Gentry
Who?
Bobbie Gentry: Not just a Southern Belle, but a 100% Proof Southern Bombshell, Gentry's husky-voiced country-got-soul shtick hit big in the late 60s with her infamous Southern Gothic whodunnit "Ode to Billy Joe".
Where can you find her?
Last seen with the recently deceased Billy Joe McCallister up on Chocktaw Ridge, somewhere near the Tallahatchie Bridge.
Style?
Hair. Masses and masses of raven-black hair, plus the sorta pouting I'm Bad News looks young men get shot by county sheriffs over.
Quote?
"I charmed a king, a congressman and the occasional aristocrat" - 'Fancy'
Roulette?
Fancy!

Yeah, great photo. She made so many brilliant records. And was exceptionally hot. I think Elvis was pretty sweet on her, but I'm not sure if anything ever happened between them.
