The Raconteurs rush new LP out

The Raconteurs are showing the world that you don't have to piddle about doing 6 months of promotional work and leaking to radio stations to get a rekkid out. Nope.

They've only jus' finished record the LP a couple of weeks ago and it's getting released on 25th March. Oh, it's called 'Consolers of the Lonely'.

According to a statement from the band. "The purpose: to get the album to the fans as soon as possible and as we promised. We wanted to get this record to fans, the press, radio, etc., all at the EXACT SAME TIME so that no one has an upper hand on anyone else regarding it's availability, reception or perception." As it's out so speedily, the band say "Some places couldn't move this fast, so they will join in as soon as they can." What next? An LP every year sixties style? A dares ya.
