Massive Attack to curate Meltdown at London's South Bank

Massive_attack It's almost Meltdown time again - and this year's curator (or 'artistic director' as they're known these days) is Massive Attack.

Following on from  John Peel, Robert Wyatt, Scott Walker, David Bowie, Lee ‘Scratch’ Perry, Morrissey, Patti Smith and Jarvis Cocker, Massive Attack get to choose who they want to play London's South Bank Centre, as well as organising DJ sets, talks, films, and visual arts.

The event runs from Saturday 14th June to Sunday 22nd June. As yet, there's no details of live acts, but as their influences cover just about everyone from the soul, funk, jazz, hip hop and reggae scenes, it should be a corker. As soon as the names get mentioned, we'll let you know first.
