Led Zeppelin to play Manchester?
Led Zeppelin will headline the 2008 Bonnaroo Arts and Music Festival according to the festival organisers. Of course, Zep got back together for that London show, but you know all about that so I won't talk of it any further.
Before you start booking your flights/Nation Express coaches, just lemme tell you which Manchester. Sadly for those of us who don't have money to burn, this show will be held during June 13-15 on a 700-acre farm in Manchester, Tennessee.
Naturally, now the Zeps have made it two shows, rumours will really start about a possible world tour. Lads. Just announce it. Stop mucking about. It's easy money and we all wanna watch you. 'Kay? Tickets to the seventh annual festival go on sale on February 16. More acts will be announced later, with an expected total of 100-plus bands.
