Leonard Cohen to tour Europe?

Cohen I've not heard about Leonard Cohen for ages. What's he doin' these days? Kung-fu? Lookin' like that guy from Dempsey and Makepeace? Well, if rumours are to be buhlieved, then right now, he's gearing up for a world tour.

Well, it seems unlikely that you're the first. I doubt I was first but I seem to have preceded you by six months or so. This excerpt is from my own post, Leonard Cohen BBC Interview: “I’d like to go out [on tour] again” (See URL at end of comment): "In a 13 July 2007 interview on the BBC program, Front Row, Leonard Cohen discusses, among other issues, his interest in a concert tour, prompted in part by the fiscal crisis caused by the theft of his funds by his former manager."

I admittedly don't know much about the music business. Do all those other singers and bands put on concerts "purely out of love for [their] fans?" I had the wacky notion that those triple digit ticket prices were intended to generate a profit.
