Coxon talks of Blur risk (no, not the board game)

Graham_coxon Remember Blur? Yeah man, they were pretty popular a few years back huh? Yeahyeah... that guy Damon Albarn was in 'em... he's hangin' 'round with cartoons and bass players from The Clash now eh? What about the rest of 'em? Well, Alex James is makin' cheese and Rowntree... the drummer?... is standing... as an MP. Wasn't there another guy? Translucent sort...

Former Blur guitarist Graham Coxon has admitted that it's probably going to be some time before the band are reconciled, stating that the potential risk involved would be the main obstacle to any reunion. "I suppose the rumours are based on some sort of fact," said Coxon, referring to steady stream of whispers that seem to be omnipresent. "It's kind of naive to expect a group to get back together after years of not really communicating really well and under that amount of pressure. But steps have been made to talk."

So what are these steps? Have they had a LedZep style meeting? Well... not really no.... "We all met up in a restaurant and it was nice but it was small talk, really, just catching up with friends like you do and it was all very odd. Nothing like recording was discussed and of course we're all busy. I think it's something that might happen when everybody feels ready and that might be years away.”

So they've all got their solo careers...

"We're all doing stuff individually that's really fulfilling, and that doesn't have to change. Pressure is the main obstacle, perhaps going back to make a record with Blur is a risk for all of us."

HELL! This ain't news! Blur in 'not getting back together but had some nice food' shocker! You should demand a refund...
