Brian Wilson premieres new work in London
The completed Smile album showed that there was still plenty of life in Brian Wilson. We'll find out if the creative juices are still flowing in September, when he premieres a new concert repertoire for London's revamped South Bank Centre, to be performed at the Royal Festival Hall.
It's called "That Lucky Old Sun (A Narrative)" and according to Wilson: "it will consist of four 'rounds', with interspersed spoken word." During the six-night run, he will also be performing older tracks, including many live for the first time.
Brian Wilson will be unveiling his new musical work on the following dates on 10th, 11th, 12th, 14th, 15th and 16th September, all starting at 7.30pm. Tickets are priced £35- £55 and go on sale from Monday January 29th. Lets hope he's still flogging those Brian Wilson dolls on the merchandising stall.
